Energy use is reported incorrect on website,December 1, 2008

"One of the main reasons we purchased this refridgerator was because it reports it uses 480 kwh. We received the refridgerator and information that was included shows that it actually uses 570 kwh. So rather than being energy efficient, it is actually rather inefficient. Another complaint is the plastic vent on bottom of the fridge has a very loud rattle when it is running. I am planning on trying to put some foam or something behind it to keep it quiet. Last complaint is the fridge is about 1/2 inch wider than it is reported. The top of the fridge is accurate, but it actually bows out wider towards the middle. I actually had to cut the 1/4 inch veneer off of my cabinets to fit it in. If the veneer had not been there, I would have been out of luck. After 2 months, we already have a dent in the door from where our door knob bumped into it. I'm not too happy with it's durability. Other than those things, it looks pretty good and the inside is nice. The interior water is nice having little kids around who can't open the doors yet, but could push the button on the outside dispenser. I think all the counterdepth models are overpriced, but we needed it with our kitchen design and this was one of the cheapest."

"We had purchased a bottom freezer type previously, and had problems. Love the counter depth plus filtered h2o inside, not on the door. Very quiet. Good ice maker, good seals. Quality product, worth the upgrade to counter level."

"I just moved into a brand new home with a galley type kitchen and didn't think that I could ever find a counter depth refrigerator with french doors. The space was so limited it was difficult to find the right measurements for the refrigerator. Well, loo and behold I found it online and went straight to the nearest Sears store and ordered it. I was so pleased when they brought it and set it up. It fits perfectly and runs beautifully!"
