"The Klein 5 in 1 is one of the best deals available on a solid professional driver. I’ve used other drivers, but this is the one that I continually go back to. The 5 in 1 really shines in situations where you’re working primarily with slotted and Phillips fasteners and need frequent bit changes. A great example is when installing residential wall outlets and light switches. Bit changes are very fast. A change only involves a simple reversal of the two sided bit, or a quick reversal of the shaft. You’re never handling more than one bit at a time, and you’re never left with the need to store a bit. Bit changes are more of a pleasure than a chore.

This is a well designed and constructed tool that can withstand a considerable amount of torque. It is somewhat compact, but very ergonomic for spinning or applying pressure. I actually prefer it to the Klein 10 in 1. The 10 in 1 is more tedious with bit changes, and defeats much of the speed and convenience that is the primary incentive for this type of driver. The bits are longer with the 5 in 1, and easier to grasp and maintain a hold. When I need bits other than Phillips and slotted, I generally reach for my magnetic tip driver. When I’m working with Phillips and slotted, especially when I need frequent bit changes, this is my driver of choice. Klein has been supplying professionals for years. This tool is certainly an example of their high professional standards. It is reasonably priced and an excellent value. I would definitely buy another, and in fact I do own a spare."
