"I recently bought this cabinet for my husband for Christmas. It has saved us so much space and he is able to lock up sensitive chemicals and other hazardous items that could cause a lot of damage if they were to spill. It is very sturdy and all metal which is a nice change of pace to most of the tool/storage options available in stores today. I would recommend this cabinet to anyone who has an automotive garage or some other kind of hobby where hazardous materials and heavy tools are required."

"I got two of these cabinets last week, picked up at the local Sears store so shipping was free. They are nice and sturdy and hold a lot of stuff. Even so, I am going back for two more because I still have a lot more stuff to sort through. I also got one of the wall cabinets to house my car care products. "I like the cabinet, it's perfect for what I need. Unfortunately I ended up with one that was dented in several areas. The doors. The right side panel. One of the shelves had taken an impact as well. The packaging looked fine when I picked it up, only after cutting open the box did I see the damage. I didn't have 2 weeks to wait for another one so I kept this one. Some of the rubber pads had already been installed too, so along with the fact that the box was darn near perfect, makes me think maybe I got one someone else had returned and it had been repackaged. Oh well. Stuff in the garage gets dirty and dented anyway, this cabinet just got a head start."

"I purchased this unit and had it delivered. It had a small dent in the front and was missing the L bracket for the wall, but that is just a minor issue. Overall the unit has great storage which is why I purchased it in the first place. Not to mention it looks good in my garage."

"When I first got cabinet home I was worried because it seemed flimsy. But after I bolted it all together, it became very sturdy. It's also east to put together, might have taken me 30 minutes to get it up and running. The part I love most about this product is the storage on the doors. Overall I'm very happy."

"This is the first item we've had to return to Sears. The second cabinet came in with same quality defects. The outside of front doors show the manufacturing flaws - rivets from inside and dents from packaging/shipping. Shows every hand and fingerprint before you even get it out of the box. Not like a typical Craftsman product. We'll have to look for something to match rest of Crafstmen set we purchased."

"I bought 2 and I read some reviews, so I was careful to check for dents on the doors. There was none. I found the packing useful to lay the cabinet on its back. I had them for awhile and I can't believe what I can store on the shelves in the doors. Its built sturdy enought. I was fortunate to get them on sale and was worth paying for delivery."

"I would have rated these cabinets higher but they are missing pieces. I ordered the floor cabinet with full shelves and the locker model and they were both missing hardware. One missing the feet and sleave that keeps the lock bars from rattling and the other is missing the hardware bag all together. Now going on the 3rd week of trying to get all the parts. Second issue is the back feet are attached to a weak area so they flex and don't seem like they can take much weight."

"I have assembled this cabinet and another one I use for keeping my Auto Detail equipment in. The two main complaints I have read on here can be easily overcome. First of all, the degree of difficulty in getting the nuts on the bolts can be made easier by NOT sticking the bolt all the way through the hole. These are carriage type bolts so if you just put the bolt in far enough to get the nut started, turn the bolt to thread it, don't try to thread the nut to the bolt because of the severe lack of room. Secondly, there has been a lot of complaining about only having 6 bungee cords for 10 shelves. I agree, it wouldn't cost that much more to include 4 more. However, these cords are easily obtained at any auto supply store or home supply store. I like my cabinet and it made a great difference in the way my garage looks."

"Just picked up the professional shelving cabinets. The very first thing I noticed; "very thin metal". The top and bottom portions of the unit flex, which means the doors fall off if the top portion flexes too much. The whole thing is held together with self-tapping sheet metal bolts. Since the metal is VERY thin, the bolts have already started pulling (stripping) out of the metal. My advice would be, find something a bit stronger. I like Craftsman tools, but they really dropped the ball on this one. I haven't decided if I'm going to bring EVERYTHING back yet."

"WELL I BOUGHT 2 OF THE FULL SHELVES CABINETS. DIDN'T HAVE THEM IN STORE, WHICH IS 25 MILES FROM WERE I LIVE. SO I ORDERED THEM ONLINE. ORDERING WAS QUICK AND EASY. WHEN I OPENED THEM, THE DOOR ON ONE OF THEM WAS DAMAGED A LITTLE. THE SEARS CALLED THE DAY AFTER THEY WERE DELIVERED TO SEE IF EVERY THING WAS OK. THAT IS VERY GOOD BUSSINESS. I TOLD THE STORE THAT ONE OF THE DOORS WAS DAMAGED A LITTLE. THEY SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE IT AT ONCE. I TOLD THEM THAT IT WAS NOT THAT BAD, AND I DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT ON ANOTHER ONE. "This is simply the most versatile full shelves cabinet, the the adjustable shelf the shelves on the door is very useful we have alot of stuff painting, electricals, garden supplies, holiday decors all of those fit on just 2 cabinets. plus the sides has peg holes that you can put hooks on and hang gloves, caps and small garden tools. Just like other reviewers I wished they added four more of the bungee cords (only came with 6) to have a bungee cord on all door shelves. We were lucky that both floor cabinets are dent free (one of my wall cabinet has a big dent that we returned)"

"These are nice and probably the best value of the non-'cardboard' storage units for the garage. I own (3) large and (1) hanging now. I did have a few problems with them... * the store clerk told me they had them, checked the computer and yes they had them, checked stock for 45min. and said they didn't have them. I went home and ordered them online which told me they did have them in stock...and yes, they did have them. So I ended out driving down twice in the same hour. Online was fast and easy. * there are apparently two models--one with doors on and the other with doors off. No big deal if you're handy but the assembly is different in case you see one review where assembly is easy and another where it isn't. * the model with doors on has slightly different construction including smaller skimpier leveling feet and a cheap sheet metal mounting hole for the feet. I had major trouble getting the feet screwed into the roughly tapped holes and the shafts bent when the cabinet was slid (unloaded) on the floor. The other model's feet 'doors off' were fine. * access to nuts for assembly is poor and awkward, no reason for that at this price * not enough bungies for the doors--for the price this is just skimpy * metal, paint and finish are nice, locks are nice, size is good, etc. Many of the others you see at the big box stores are just grey fiber board. I think this is the best value."

"The product itself, after having to return it because it was damaged, is good. However dealing with Sears was a little difficult. First off this is a big product to pick up and to have to return it and get another one was not easy. Then the store where we did the exchange said they HAD to do it as a return and in the end it cost us more than we originally purchased it for. It wasn't a very pleasant experience. Hope you experience better."

"We bought 3 of these cabinets. My husband unpacked, assembled, and loaded them in one afternoon project. It has made such a difference in our garage's appearance which the two of use as our main entrance into the house. The little assembly that was required was easy. Storage capability is great. Please note that the cabinets come delivered fully assembled (except for shelving and door mechanisms) and are quite large so you should probably schedule delivery for a day that you have the time to put them in place or store them. I hope that the doors smooth, dent-free finish stays that way but could foresee them getting dented after a few year's of use."

"When I finally decided to organize my garage (actually it was more of a neccessity than a decision) I did extensive research on the various cabinets offered not only by Sears but also the other big-box home centers. Sears had the best selection and in a lot of cases the best prices. My research included spending hands-on time at the stores checking out features and construction. Craftsman Professional was by far the best (in this price range anyway), and the only one with storage on the doors for spray paint cans and other smaller items. It was fairly easy to assemble. I did have a problem with the first one that I bought, the threads on the cabinet for one of the leveling feet were messed up and I could not screw the leg into the cabinet. So I had to lug this behemoth out of my garage and back to the store, but Sears gladly replaced it. A little extra effort for me but I'm a happy customer."
