Worked for 1.5 Years, July 27, 2009
By RichieRich from Maine

"Bought this to use on my 500lb motorcycle. Worked fine for one season, and then half the next. The internal seals went, because it will slowly go up when pumped, but will not hold any load whatsoever. A replacement bottle jack is $20 through Sears."

gets the job done, July 27, 2009
By mefleming

"Sure it is not a table jack, but it'll do the job that it is suppose to do. I have a Springer Softail and I have to pull the bike up on a couple pieces of thick plywood in order to get the lift under the bike. Overall great lift for the buy."

Save your money for something else, July 3, 2009
By Rudedawg1 from Taylorsville, MS

"Used it once to service a 350 2wd atv and it worked ok; started to service son's same model atv then the the safety bar broke and the jack would not lift. The first and only use was an expensive atv servicing, so if you need a jack of this type I highly recomend you look elsewhere or for a different model."

Piece of Junk, April 24, 2009
By MMM666 from Deland, Fl

"DO NOT BUY THIS LIFT or you will be sorry. The guys who rate this jack more than one star have just been lucky so far. Used it two times before bottle jack broke. Expensive boat anchor. Sears should not deal in junk it this."

Git er done, April 22, 2009
By PaddyMcQ

"This jack has paid for itself many times over. I use it to lift my 700lb Victory motorcycle for weeks on end. Originally purchased to make annual modifications to the motorcycle, I also use it for monthly detailing, jacking it up to eye/stool level. Very satisfied!"

Bottle Jack Oil, April 21, 2009
By marvolus from Bellport, NY

"When the bottle jack fails refil it with bottle jack oil found at any auto parts store. The refil plug is a rubber plug found halfway up the side of the jack. Lay the jack on its side with the refill plug facing up and fill it leaving a little empty room in the tank. Make sure the bottle jack is in its lowest position when you refill it. It is normal for a bottle jack to leak oil over time. For the money, this is a great jack."

Gets the job done!, April 5, 2009
By Daniel03 from South Boston, VA

"I have had this jack for about 3 years now and have lifted my bike and atv more than a dozen times and have left the bike on the lift for a couple of weeks and have had no problems whatsoever. A larger caster would help in ease of moving with a load on it, but I don't see a major problem with this jack with as much use as I give it. Price has come up since I purchased mine but still worth the money."

STINKER!!!, April 4, 2009
By SADJACKER from ELYRIA, OHIO

"Now I read the reviews!!! YIKES!!! Seems like I got the model that has a bottle jack issue! It would jack up the bike but would slowly leak causing the bike to come down. It got worse and worse till it eventually would not even lift the bike up at all. I NEVER used the jack to hold the bike for periods longer than an hour or so. I, too, could not find any replacement parts for this newly formed BOAT ANCHOR. JUNK......JUNK...JUNK!!!! dO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!"

Old Faithful, March 9, 2009
By ReddTigger from Maryland

"I have had this jack for over 2 years, Rebuilt my bike, Done several services on all types of bikes on it, even used it to take out a Transmission and transfer case from a Jeep. The key to long life with this jack is to not let it sit up using the Hydrolics , use the locking mechanism and let the pressure off.
It's been sitting for about 5 months in storage, and I just used it the other day and it worked fine..

I've heard many people complain about the jacks blowing out, but I've told everyone I know to use the locks and let the pressure out and none of them have had any problems.

Poor Quality, February 12, 2009
By mcrdr from Texas

"Hunk of junk in the garage is right on !! It worked 3 times with no problems. Then for no apparent reason it would not lift. I discovered no oil in the jack. I filled it up and it leaked out immediately. No parts available to repair the jack. I'm buying a different brand."

Bad Jack, January 18, 2009
By modestomike from Modesto, California

"I've had this jack for about two years and used it maybe three times. When It worked it was fine but now the hydraulic cylinder has failed. It looks like the oil drained out somehow. I tried to look up parts but, apparently, none exist. I would avoid this product."

No good Jack!, January 4, 2009
By Figdog from Medway Ma

"Worked fine for 3-4 uses. After sitting for about 6 months, went to use it and the hydraulic jack is shot. Looks like many of us are having the same issue...do not buy it or you'll be stuck with a chunk of metal in your garage."
