"I pick up Sears tool bags when I get to a Sears and they are on sale, my husband laughs at me for doing this, but sooner or later he will ask if I have one of those bags for him somewhere. He has found a tool or collection of smaller hand tools he wants it for.
My son now works the electrical trade also, and like his father laughs when I bring home more Sears bags, he wasn't laughing when his vehicle was broken into and all of his tools where stolen. He purchased what he had to have to continue to work, he also came home asking if I had anymore Sears bags.
So they can laugh all they want, Sears and I are there for them when they need us, then who is laughing.
Thank you."

Great Value!,October 9, 2008
By WildBill2500from Maine
"Two bags for the price of one... I use the smaller for storing chain and the larger for taking tools to projects away from home. The construction is good, not great- but they should hold up for a while. For under $12 they are still an excellent value."

Zipper problems,May 29, 2008
By ReviewerJack
"Two bags here, packed flat one inside the other in a box 2" thick. The smaller bag is OK enough, it'll stretch out properly. But the bigger bag has a zipper problem which renders it unusable. The zipper was so crushed I was not able to close the larger bag all the way, the zipper just wouldn't make it around the bend at the top. Even if it had, it still would have been difficult to close, not worth the effort.
I have another Craftsman bag slightly larger than the larger of these two which is excellent. I would recommend these bags ONLY if the zipper works properly."

Inexpensive, decent quality,April 23, 2008
By justanotherbuyerfrom Cohoes, NY
"They aren't going to replace a metal toolbox but then that isn't what they were meant to do.
For gathering up all the tools needed for an odd job or two they are useful. I transfer what I think I may need from my toolboxes into one of these and then carry just that with me.
The area around the zipper is the weakest part of the bag's design. Somewhat thin and seems to me it will tear sooner than later. Otherwise a decent heavier gauge material than I was expecting.
Well worth the 8 dollars (on sale) I paid for the pair."

GOOD BUT MEASURE YOUR HAMMER,January 21, 2008
By SOUTHMDfrom SOUTHERN, MD
"BOUGHT ON SALE AT EXCELLENT PRICE ($8.00). HOWEVER, I FAILED TO MEASURE MY HAMMER BEFORE BUYING AND IT WON'T FIT INTO EITHER BAG. SMALLER BAG IS GREAT FOR CAR TRUNK OR COMMON TOOLS FOR UPSTAIRS SMALL PROJECTS. CONSTRUCTION APPEARS GOOD BUT THEY ARE STILL NEW."

"I was looking for a replacement tool box for my screwdrivers and pliars that I carry in my pickup when my wife came across these tool bags. I use the smaller of the 2 for the screwdrivers and pliars. The only complaint I have about the bag is that it is a little hard to find things in the bottom without dumping everything out.... But then it was in the old tool box too, so I guess I don't have a complaint. The larger of the tool bags I use as my job bag... When I start a job around the house I gather the tools I will need and put them in the bag along with any screws and materials. Works Great!"

"I bought several of the tool bag sets along with a few tools on sale at Sears during the Christmas season. We have 10 to 12 guys in the family we buy for each year & we can't afford to spend Mega $$ on each gift. So, when I caught the Sears bags on sale, I took advantage of the opportunity. I had to go to 2 different stores in order to find enough, but I am so glad I did. We had our huge Christmas dinner & then it was time for everyone to open gifts. There were the usual shirts, scarves & ho-hum etc. being opened, but then one of the guys opened the tool bag & was ecstatic. The other men starting looking for my gift wrap to open the present from us. They were all THRILLED & we were the hit of the party.
I will definitely be looking for more great Sears Deals for Christmas giving again this year."

"This bag is ok for putting some small amount of tools in to take somewhere to do a job. What I find as a disappointment...is where the bags zipper attaches to the material. Just reaching for the bag and grabbing the top of the bag around the zipper area...I was able to put my fingers right through the material. I guess that is the reason for the handles...but when you are working...and then have to reach for the bag...you don't take time to reach for the handles...you reach for the bag and pull it your way. It's too bad the material is as thin as paper on top and now my zipper is tearing away from the rest of the bag."
