Very convenient, December 2, 2008
By putty469 from St. Louis, MO

"I like having the adjustable roller stand for my various saw tables and sawhorses. They all seem to be different heights, and I was constantly balancing things to hold up wood. This is pretty straightforward and is now a fixture in my workshop."

extra hands, April 11, 2008
By rgmori from Galveston, TX, restoring a yacht

"I purchased three units to use with my Craftsman table saw for large cutting projects. It is like having the help of extra hands making tough jobs go smoothly. They are light weight, easy to adjust and fold small to store. Don't know how I got along without them."

"This product is great. It is easy to adjust and very stable and solid. I would say pick up at least 2, and you are better off getting 4."

Great little stand, January 8, 2008
By jzrouterman from Gainesville, Georgia

"I have four of these stands. Two I use as outfeed support with whichever table saw I'm using (contractor or benchtop). The other two I use to help support the extention wings of my craftsman benchtop saw. These little stands work great for both purposes, not to mention that the price of this stand cannot be beat. I've had no problems with the elevation handles or any other parts of any of these stands of this model. I would totally recommend the use of this model stand to anyone as a safe, affordable support method."

"I bought this roller stand for my Craftsman Mitre Saw. The Saw already came with a stand, but I needed something like this roller stand to facilitate in cutting large boards. This stand works very well with the saw. The long boards are no longer cumbersome to cut, and for the price this cannot be beat. As far as the locking mechanism that adjusts the height, users need to be aware that to tighten it snuggly. Over tightening it will cause the threads to strip. This is like any screw that is manufactured. Definitely a buy for the money. Very useful!"

"I bought this for my husband a little over a year ago. The adjustment knob and locking mechanism has stopped working and the warranty this product is only 1 year. We have used this roller stand less than a dozen times so it is not like it broke from overuse.

I wish I had listened to a previous reviewer who had the same problem. We liked the performance of the product and it is lightweight and easy to use but it is now essentially useless.

I would suggest buying another product.

"This stand is good for the money. It has an adjustable foot on it to account for uneven floor. I had to bend the feet on mine slightly to account for some uneven welding on the opposing two feet. Still, it's a great value and very handy with a portable table saw."

"I checked around for table saws in this price range and this one seemed to offer the most. At first I bought a super-cheap $99 saw from another store but after viewing the inside construction, I was afraid to turn it on.

This saw seems reasonably well built and makes straight cuts although perhaps less accurate than the more expensive saws. There is a small amount of movement in the miter but the fence seems to lock-down tightly and has a couple of screws to adjust the right-angle. Bevel adjustment on the blade is smooth and so is the height adjustment. The table and extensions are sturdy cast-aluminum and the whole saw is actually fairly light. The stand is very easy to set-up (no-tools needed. Twist-locks at each leg) and it folds and stores on the back of the unit with velcro straps. The saw folds up small enough to fit in the trunk of most cars (you may have to remove the extension tables for a smaller trunk). The dust collector is very simple but it works well and stays attached to the stand rather than the saw so you don't need to remove it each time you break-down the saw. The blade is also decent compared to the cheapy saw that I first bought.

I later picked up a couple of bench tool roller stands on sale (model #22295). These are sturdy and highly recommended if you are going to saw plywood or other large material on one of these smaller portable table saws.

I've only owned the saw for a short while but so far I like it very much.

"after minimal use the adjustment/lock handle has been rendered useless and product cannot be used without it. there is a lock nut mechanism in the handle but the locking bolt head has spun around inside and so the support roller cannot be raised or lowered. the plastic handle certainly could be improved upon."
