Good Price Good Product,July 18, 2009
By Melvin79from Maryland
"Just purchased this and used it on my full sized truck for the first time. Although my paint is getting worse then I would have liked, this buffer did and excellent job of applying and removing wax. If you are expecting to buff out scratches with this unit, don't. That is not what it was intended to do. If you are looking for a cheap buffer to save your arm then buy this product. I also had a hard time finding 7" bonnets so I bought some 9". They worked fine as long as you leave the buffer in contact with the vehicles surface."

a decent buffer,March 23, 2009
By kminarfrom canton, oh
"i recieve this for an xmas gift. Overall it does and works pretty good. I think it needs a quicker motor with varibable speed control. like everyone said the power cord is a pain to deal with but I put it over my shoulder and it seems to stay out of the way. It does a far better job rather then buffing or applying wax by hand. The buffer is rather light weight and easy to use. I recomend you use a wax/polish that is easy to remove. For the price it is definetly worth it. Make sure you use the right bonnets. use the terry bonnet to remove the first coat. then use the micro fiber bonnet to polish, then use the synthetic fuzzy for a high gloss shine. the bonnets are pricey. i shopped around and found 2-3 packs for the same price."

Decent for a single speed unit.,February 16, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Toledo, OH
"Doesn't quite reach a speed fast enough for excellent results, however better than hand polishing. If you're not a professional detailer, you'll never notice mid results. However, be careful not to haze the paint by using too much polish/sealant/wax. You want to keep it moving, but not too fast, leaving a THIN coat. Multiple thin coats=superior shine; One thick coat= hazy, non-reflective, streaky shine. Keep changing the bonnets, new bonnet for each product. My biggest complaint is the stubby cord making outward reaching impossible without dragging extension chord acrossed your car. Really frustrating to say the least."

Pretty good buffer,March 13, 2008
By MoparManiacfrom Country of Texas
"Bout the only bad thing I have to say is about the power cord. because of it's length (or lack of) and no sort of retention device, it tends to come unplugged. Other than that, I've got nuttin bad ta say. It did exactly what I needed it to do."

"IMPORTANT! follow the instructions! Use a LIQUID rubbing compound and a LIQUID wax (preferably one with color match). Also get extra bonnets. If you have an older vehicle without clear coat and the paint is all oxidized this will fix it. The smaller size makes it much easier to use for extended periods allows access to tight places. You will not believe the results! I am totally happy with this little buffer."

"I trust the craftsman name and appreciate the compact size of the buffer. The larger buffers can be taxing on your arms if you have a larger vehicle (Larger = heavier). I caught it on sale for less than $30 and couldn't leave the store without it. My only caution with the buffer is to ensure you have all the bonnets you need before you leave the store. The lambs wool/synthetic fiber bonnets which are used for the final polishing step are hard to find in my area. Overall, a fine purchase that has saved several hours a month spent hand-waxing my truck."

"This buffer/polisher is GREAT! We were trying to wax our family's four cars by hand. Our arms would wear out after doing less than half of the vehicles. My Dad has a huge Ford F150. It took forever to do the old fashioned way not to mention our arms felt like they were about to fall off. This thing applies the wax quickly. After the wax sets, it removes the wax easily. I don't know how I got by before without this thing. I love sears products, and this is another great power tool!"
