Razor Electric Scooter, August 3, 2009

"I've had my scooter for several years and have never had a problem. It's important to charge the battery according to the instructions. You can't give it a 2 hour initial charge and expect it to last. I would highly recommend this scooter."

Not very good..., January 12, 2009
By MADMOTHER from Emporia Kansas

"I bought two of these scooters for my boys for christmas and when I got them they were practacaly out of the boxes...When they went to ride them for the first time my oldest son was only on his for 5 minutes at the most before the battery was completely dead...Now my youngest son can be on his for like 10 minutes before his battery goes dead...I would not recomend these scooters for anyone...They DO NOT stay charged up and when the battery goes dead then it takes 12 hours to recharge them...NOT VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE!!!!"

Bad experience, January 4, 2009

"I purchased this scooter for my step daughter for Christmas. The first time she rode it, the scooter kept dying on her. It died on her 15 times in 5 minutes. We took it back. I would advise not buying this."

Electric grocery cart, July 30, 2008
By donscooter from Seattle, WA

"The scooter required virtually no assembly. But when I bolted the seat to the deck, I bolted it down through a laundry basket. Its actually easier to ride. I just put my feet up on the edge of the basket, like hiway pegs on a motorcycle.
I ride it to the grocery store about a mile away. I take it right into the store and load up the basket with groceries. Then at the checkout stand we put the groceries back into the basket. No bags. At home it rolls right into the kitchen for unloading.
It will take me to the store in about 5 minutes, no problem at all. On the way back there are a couple of small hills where I have to get off and walk beside the bike. I don't have to push the bike. The motor is strong enough to carry the groceries, just not me and the groceries, up those hills. I have to walk about 3 blocks total out of 2 miles round trip. Not bad.
The law allows a 1000 watt motor, and this has 350 watts. I give it a four because it does the job reasonably well, but I wish the motor was stronger.

Save Your Money, July 15, 2008

"We bought two of these scooters last Christmas for our kids and couldn't be more unhappy. They haven't been used much, just here and there. Already we have had to replace parts and one of them still makes a terrible sound when in use. The warranty on these scooters is not very long, and it seems that things start to fall apart right after the warranty ends. I would highly suggest finding another brand, this one is a lemon."
